Kartupedia

Kartupedia, a combination of the Indonesian words "kartu" (card) and "ensiklopedia" (encyclopedia), is a collaborative project with Indonesia Mengajar (Indonesia Teaching Movement) as part of their yearly event, ‘Festival Gerakan Indonesia Mengajar’.

Kartupedia covers a variety of topics, including inventions, Indonesian flora and fauna, world heritage sites, astronomy, and Indonesian national heroes. Each topic features 20 unique illustrations, totaling 100 cards in the set.

To inspire and motivate young learners in remote regions of Indonesia, 13,500 Kartupedia cards were distributed across 26 elementary schools, spanning from Aceh to Papua with Indonesia Mengajar support.
