City Hero
“City Hero - Play a part in your city” is part of a campaign, aiming to advertise reasonable risk taking to parents, since they are the ones who will restrict or encourage a child’s interaction with the city. Through this family roleplaying game the child’s capabilities and potentials for solving situations in everyday city life will be made visible while also encouraging imaginative and creative storytelling.
A project of Nesia Anindita, Katerina Kucharova and Melanie Witting; in cooperation with Espen, Joel, Juliette and Vincent from ISGR
City Hero is a card game that encourages creative role play and storytelling. In each round a scenario is encountered that revolves around tricky situations in everyday life inside a city. Each player reacts to this scenario within the role they are given and is afterwards rewarded for the most creative, safe or funny response. The winner is the player with the most reward coins. The object of the game, though, isn't just to win, but to have fun telling stories!
The campaign CITY HERO is targeted at families with kids 8-12 years old.
